Both are sata.anyone have any experience with these?or are any better models available in chennai?

In Samsung , SH223F is a better option

I have been using this for the past 5 months and I have to say that it is way better than my LG GSA-H55N

Samsung SH-S223F - is a very popular drive rated by various TE folks
I am using the same model, so far so good
Atleast the well known samsung tray problem is not with this, its super smooth
Price is 1040 - bought from Samta Infotec(KAJ Plaza), a week back for my friend

Yeah both should be fine these days the drives are so cheap thats sometimes its pure luck seriously

go for the cheapest ones & use branded dvd's for burning & always burn it with slowest speed ...............
