Does Leaving bluetooth on, drain the batteries?

Hi,
I've got a nokia 3110 Classic and i recently bought a bluetooth headset- Nokia BH-209, Now i want to know if i leave the bluetooth on all the time, will it drain the battery?

yup it does. try to keep it on only when required.
