well first you can keep you bills and warranty ready in case something goes wrong ...secondly , you can start googling and reading everything there is to be about overclocking , thirdly you can search the forum to see what the other people have done, and finally if you dont understand some stuff , dont touch the voltage settings and other setups

Yeah but none for MSI, seems everyone is on Gigabyte

I have a MSI P45 Neo2-FR which is a toned down version of P45 Platinum/Zilent..
Well to start with its an awesome board and runs fairly cool, easily does 500-550FSB around ~1.3v and 450FSB around ~1.2v MCH/NB Voltage, Stock being 1.1v.

I'll be getting my Q9550 E0 in a week, will share my voltage settings then..
If you're a novice overclocker, read a lot before you touch anything

you can google it & you might find a similar setup as of yours.

I'm an Out Of Box overclocker, and don't like playing around with all the voltage and timming settings(I know that's bad, you need to do your homework), tried to get it to 3.4(400 FSB) on Q9550 with stock volts and trying to check with Prime95 received errors, upping Voltage to 1.3 vCore helps, also that was using DDR2 667, so had to up the voltage to the RAM's as well 1.9, just wanted to optimise my overclock, trying to overclock with E6850 wwas relatively easier in that aspects
