I have a Canon IP1880 Inkjet printer.
It's about 9-10 months old and still working on stock cartridges, which I keep refilling everytime the ink runs out.

Last time I refilled the black cartridge (PG-830) was about 2 weeks back but when I was trying to take prints today, every page that came out was a complete blank with a few black streaks here and there.

I think the cartridge nozzle has dried up

Also recently my coloured cartridge went bad, so I had to buy a new one.
Now I tried performing nozzle cleaning once from printer preferences, It didn't help and I don't want to waste any more "Original" coloured ink.

Should I inkject the cartridge with 2-3ml of acetone/rubbing alcohol?
Would it be of any help cleaning out the clogged nozzle?
