I am based in Assam.
Recently, the Remote of my NAD C320BEE Stereo Integrated Amplifier stopped working, due to battery fluid leakage. The On/Off switch is working, but the volume control switch is completely out.
I had sent the Remote for repairs to M/s Lakozy Impex, Mumbai, who are the authorised Indian distributors of NAD.
M/s Lakozy tried their best, but could not repair the Remote.
They have offered me a new one for Rs 6.5k.
I don't think its not worth it, as I use the Remote just for operating the volume knob from my couch.
Any chance of getting the Remote repaired elsewhere ?

Bah..
6.5K will get you a Logi harmony
since the on off switch is working, the remote circuitry seems to be fine and i am guessing the debris from the battery leak is stuck on the board under the volume button
If you are good with hardware, open up the damn thing and give it a nice wash & scrub with IPA focusing on removing the debris, esp.under the vol. key
else ask a local electronics repair shop guy to do it for you..

Am thinking of the Universal Remote myself.
Will give it to a local technician first like Superczar has suggested. If he fails, will go for the Sony Universal remote.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys !!!
