i am thinking of selling my PC OR Upgrading it

What do i add if it is possible to upgrade

AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor 3000+ 2004 Mhz

MB: ASUS K8S-MX

Ram 2 X 512MB 400 MHz

1 Sony DVD RW
1 Sony CD RW

1 80GB Hard Disk

14" CRT monitor

Purpose and budget? If gaming's on your mind, u need to get a whole new setup. For office/ normal use, maybe a monitor upgrade?

Looks like the branded pc from asus ... you can sell as a whole pack for a decent price and go for a upgrade.

Purpose: Will mainly use it for browsing and designing websites and once in a week convert movies (from Non -AVI to AVI, DVD to AVI)

Budget: till 30K for new one / 5-8K for Upgrade

Will not use it for any games

May open many applications like Photoshop, dreamwever, Dual OS( using Virtual PC)

No its not a Branded One it is a assembled one

I am currently using 80GB disk which is 90% full

AND

Can i update it with latest avaliable RAM that is more than 400MHz speed

Now a Days my PC is getting stuck every now n then with XP and Vista

If budget is 30k, get a new machine instead of an upgrade as ur machine is good as it is.

+1 to getting a new machine -- for the proposed use you will get overkill in 30K.
