Not sure where to post this, and totally unaware of the prices or if there are any really good brands.

I need a memory card reader that:
a) Can fit in a floppy bay in my STACKER
b) Has both CF and SD/SD Micro slots
c) Really good quality, not the generic tech-coms of the card reader world.

Can anyone help me with brands and/or prices?

I'm looking to sell my Sony OEM Internal Memory Card Reader...

It fits in the floppy drive bay and support 15 type of memory formats:

(Memory Stick / Memory Stick Pro/ SmartMedia / CompactFlash/ MicroDrive / SD Memory Card / Multimedia Card (MMC) / xD Picture Card/ Memory Stick Duo (with adapter)/ Mini-SD Memory Card (with adapter) / RS-MMC (with adapter), USB Front Connector)

Let me know if you're interested...

P.S: I'm looking to sell it coz it does not support my 8GB MSPD used for my PSP...

Here a pic of the card reader...

I'm also looking to buy one. Do these Sony ones work with Vista? I've tried 3 or 4 generic ones (including mine) and while they work fine with XP, Vista dooesn't detect any of them.

U can get even more compact ones at 200..they wil be much much smaller and portable..Also they are reliable too...There isnt much to choose in a card reader...all of them support almost the same variety of cards..

Interested. What is the internal connector like?

NeViLLe

^^ Internal Connector is in the first pic itself... it needs to be attached directly on the USB header present on your mobo...

the one that neville has costs around 1100 (not the same though imo) just checked out the rate in one of KMD GO's .. and i would defy recommend the one that neville has rather than the cheaper ones.. cuz ive had bad experiences with the EL Cheapo ones mainly cuz they got my w800's MMC corrupted

i think a simple ENTER USB 4 in one media card reader will do the job for U. Investing in expensive card readers is useless IMO.
