With APP2, not much difference but with B2P, there is difference. I can say that for APP2, lot has changed in last one year. ANC got better but the major difference is addition of features like adaptive transparency, speak to disable ANC, conversation awareness. There is one new feature that was recently added called Background sounds. For those with tinnitus, silent room makes tinnitus noise pronounced so I can enable gentle background sounds. This does not require another application. Say I wanted absolute silence from surroundings and I turned on ANC. Now that increases tinnitus noise. I can now enable gentle noise like rain or air or beach waves or stream and set decibel level. I had set to 3db and it feels so good, especially 'stream' sound. This is controlled from the control center. I do not use it much though I have Tinnitus as I am pretty much used to it (one of the reasons why I love headphone safety feature that comes in iPhone as it protects my ears from having further damage). I had LG Tone FP5 earlier which used to over-do transparency to the level that it is very disturbing, especially when I used to go for cycling. Transparency on APP2 is just the right kind of balance. I wish Apple tunes adaptive ANC better so that I can put on ANC and it does better job as enabling transparency when a vehicle is approaching.
