Default NTFS on WD Passport

Hello,

I have a WD Passport 160GB (Got from our own AmarBir.) I wanted to know if I can format it as an NTFS drive coz FAT32 has a 4GB file size limitation; I had to copy some DVD iso's and couldn't do so. Any help here would be appreciated.

TIA.

just use the convert command from a command prompt...typically its like this...

convert X: /FS:NTFS

replace X with the drive letter of ur hdd...this will convert ur fat32 partition to ntfs...keeping all files intact too...

First of all you can format a FAT32 partition of any size with this utility. I'm using my Seagate Freeagent Go with a 140 GB Fat32 partition formatted thru this utility. Secondly, you can format your HDD as NTFS too or make partitions like in internal hard disks. You can do it from Windows Disk management.
