Hello one and all, finally I make my entry into the world of HD. Presenting the Dell SP2309W. Reason I picked this over the Samsung and BenQ was

    1. Glossy screen
    2. HDMI
    3. Higher resolution
    4. Good ergonomics (height adjustment, OSD)
    5. Best looking 23"er by far

    Damages : 13.5K

Got this through a friend , thats why the low price.

This thing is beast, totally worth every penny. Colors are very vivid and bright. I had to reduce the level to 50 which is very comfortable for normal use. Glossy screens make a big difference, but make sure u dont have a light source behind u , else you're screwed.

Anyway's im off to watch my HD movie collection.

If the brightness on your display is anything like my Dell 2007WFP, your eyes will get screwed at 50% brightness. :hap5: I run my display at 20% brightness for games/movies and 10% for text.

Thanks a lot guys, trust me this Dell is worth going for even at 15.5K. Since most of us upgrade our monitors once in 3 yrs (or more) this is definitley woth the investment, i.e if you're into HD movies and love glossy screens
