    Security issue My Portable Hard Drvie

    I have a Portable hard drive 1 tb but now i want a software from which i can lock hard drive so that whenver any one want to access my hard drive it requires a pass so i can secure my data...

    Why not use Bitlocker Encryption. Use it on an entire Partition.

    Use TrueCrypt : TrueCrypt - Free Open-Source On-The-Fly Disk Encryption Software for Windows 7/Vista/XP, Mac OS X and Linux



    Bitlocker is inbuilt in Windows Vista/7. Just type Bitlocker in the start search menu.
