Try Wilders Security Forums - Powered by vBulletin for more info about AV suites.
Mcafee I think is a good choice and is one of the industry leaders, so you can't go wrong with it

I've been using Kaspersky since 2004, and i'm really happy with it... has been good to me till now

nevertheless its a good deal to get 1 yr free subscription
