REVIEW: Hippo Boom IEMs

Introduction :

Just when I had planned to shift my spotlight from entry level IEMs to mid range and budget audiophile grade IEMs,I won these Hippo Boom for participating in the Independence day Contest held on Jaben forums.So thanks to Uncle Wilson's generosity,here I am with yet another review of a fun sounding budget IEMs-The Hippo Boom !!

Similar to the Crossroads,Hippo is an additional brand introduced by the famous audio gear store in Singapore -The Jaben Store.While the Crossroads are bit expensive the Hippos seem to be value for money and on the affordable side.Boom is one of their cheaper and entry level earphones and the IEMs are as much fun sounding as their name suggests.So here's a detailed Review .

Guys,There might be a few typos,corrections to be made so please inform me if you find any.Also I seem to have messed up with the spacing between few words.Trying to correct it in editor mode

^ Haven't tried them so cant say but going by the price tag of 199$ and head fi reviews , the Denon would surely be better. Lot better

Hmmm...then i dont think i need to shell out on these

using the 751's with a AMP3 and a Icon Mobile coming in soon....i ca do anything for Kickass bass....

But dont wanna sacrifice on the Mids and/or the Soubndstage

btw C751's are for 100 $'s on amazon

Where are you from btw? i really wanna try these

Yeah the c751 is for ~100$ on amazon.Any midrange / high end IEM paired with a Amp3 and Icon Mobile will be nothing short of Audio Nirvana.The Amp3 itself is on a totally different level altogether.

These are entry level / budget IEMs. Comparing them with anything above 50$ wouldn't be the best thing to do.

I am from Navi Mumbai, you can try them out if you are close by anytime.
