Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Review

Hello People!

I am back with another exciting product for you guys. Today I take a look at Gigabyte’s latest offering for Core 2 platform, the Gigabyte EP45 UD3P motherboard.
This motherboard is based on Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable 3 PCB design based on Intel’s P45 chipset to replace Ultra Durable 2 design it has been using for a while now. The P45 chipset itself is not that new, and there are plenty of boards already out based on this chipset including Gigabyte’s own EP45 series boards.

So why did Gigabyte launch this board now nearing the end of the Core 2 era? Or is there any point to bring this board out now at all? Let’s find out.

But 15k...r they mad....Anything above 10k will be a complete rip off (considering its 140$, 120$ or so after MIR ). US market is in tatters and we are being ripped off

I know, thats why my conclusion says what it does

This is the indicative pricing given to me directly by gigabyte's PR people. So I am still hoping the actual pricing with dealers will be much lower than that. I really do hope this is the case.

Thats a sheer rip-off!!! Sheesh one's better off with a Asus P5Q Deluxe!!!

its not the US market
gigabyte prices have always been sky high.... like the p35 ds3 for 9k..which was 100$ in the US

Very good review as always

and very good board as well with a proper layout.

Gigabyte seriously need to rework their pricing method. From what i gathered from talking with their official is that they want to concentrate more only on the motherboard segment. But with this pricing it'll be really hard.

Amazing review. Also we know that the famous cooler SCCF DOESNOT fit on this mobo, which is sad but good to know for everyrone. EasyTune6 looks good and 0 vdrop waah!
When will Gigabyte change their pricing in India???
