In addition, winners may be requested to participate in public relations events tied to the campaign to generate press coverage of the contest and the accessories range.

6. The decision of the judges for this contest is final and no claim will be entertained. ASUS reserves the right to disqualify all entries that do not meet the rules and regulations of these contests. These include entries submitted with invalid or incorrect information.

Hats off greatreview....but what about warranty support. Asus mobos arent good in terms of honouring warranty in a good way, is it the same with theis lappy. Repped

@pat, u might want to confirm. i believe everywhere in the world warranty is 1 yr only. cud be an exception law related thing in germany maybe?

i feel like buyiung this sexy laptop when i saw it in the mall.. its truly unbeatable. i would rather connect external 320GB hdd with it and enjoy stuff wirelessly and keep it as downloading machine...

I am pretty sure it is 2 years here in Germany. It anyways doesnt matter to me as I wont be staying here for that long

Not that big a problem.It definitely is small, but the resolution kinda grows on you. Also, when I am surfing I generally increase the resolution to 800X600 so it is much better

I have Eee Pc with me right now!!
will, post my pics surfing the net and other things!!.you caneasily read the things in 7 " screen with its normal resolution
@dingemini i havent did more of typing because its not reqiured pictures i posted speaks every thing and more over yesterday my net was something 20kbps(surfing speed) still i posted here!
Dini if you want i can come down to your place to show you Eee Pc!

Thanks buddy. I have been waiting for the eeePC 900 to be released in India. But if it doesn't within a month or so( as soon as I can sell my Desktop), I will buy this.
By the way, my main requirements will be- making assignments on OO writer, surfing and reading eBooks, articles. Hope it suits me. The main reason I shall be buying this is because of the portability it offers. Plus it will be fun to see the look on people's face when I take it out of my Back pack( where it is along with other books) while they are carrying around a separate 8 kg laptop+bag. Obviously they will be using it for the same things as me, just spending twice as much money and carrying 7-8 times the weight :-)

i just saw the EEPC myself as Predator bought the same at my home today !

its good with Xandrox

but wat i dint like was the screen size and small fonts.

but a good portable solution
