Afaik Airpods don't have activation warranty starts from the purchase date 7/10/23.

Also why hide the invoice price?

The other Airpods that were purchased along at the same time- show the warranty as per activation date as per my check.

Chose to hide the details, prospective buyer will get the entire invoice.

Dont think your warranty related statement is substantiated with any proof, but here is my attempt of correcting your understanding:
As mentioned on the thread that these Airpods(one on sale) were bought along with others for use within the family, below is the warranty detail of the ones that my Wife is using:
Note: I have not hidden the serial number for your convinience to be able to match 100% of the S/N digits
the below shows date of purchase as 7th Oct 2023:

Appple warranty check shows 20th Oct 2024 as the expiry date for the same serial number, these were used for the first time on 21st Oct'23:

& as strange as it may sound, i tried logging in to the applesupport page using icloud id & for the above airpods which my wife is already using, it asked for me to update the purcase date, just to see the effect, i updated 20th Feb 2024 as the purchase date & here is the result below:

So basically you added the date manully one could add any date... Right?

What if apple asks for the invoice/proff of Purchase in this case it was bought in October so will they honour warranty from the date of purchase or the date you entered.

You have a PM.

Apple wont ask an invoice for an Indian unit. Afaik, warranty starts from activation date. PM responded

As per the official Apple warranty support page, warranty starts from the purchase date and not from the activation date. Proof.

Had two instances were official apple service centres have asked for the invoice for warranty claim:
  1. Apple Airpods pro 1st gen - Serviced at Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala
  2. Apple macbook air(Friends) - Serviced at Bangalore.
So it varies from service centre to service centre whether they would ask for Invoice or not.

Guys, please take your discussions elsewhere.. this is a sale thread. I am giving the original invoice and the warranty end date from the apple coverage website should be proof enough for apple to confirm the activation date.

Also another instance of the interpretation of that policy.

While buying apple care plus for a 15 pro max, apple phone customer support claimed the purchase date had surpassed 60 days and read out the policy, a quick 2 min conversation later, they sent the link as the device was just activated 30 days ago as per activation date and ignored the purchase date.

Apple care plus doesn't require you to physically drop your product off at a service centre unlike warranty submission. So you are leaving the end buyer up to luck if they are to submit their airpods after the purchase date warranty ends. Warranty discrepancies like this should be made available in a sales thread for prospective buyers to make a decision before they buy the product.

There have been many responses from members here in other threads where apple devices have been replaced/ fixed by apple under warranty without asking for an Invoice in India. Off late some service centres do mandate producing the purchase receipt but they are mostly third party ones and is a mixed experience.

Basis your response, its clear that you directly or indirectly claim “purchase date on invoice of apple products supersedes the apple warranty coverage dates or status”
this to me is obvious misconception. Off late i believe even Samsung or some other OEMs offer warranty from actual date of activation instead of purchase date.
@deathblade :

Kindly post your experience on this thread:

@puns or @Crazy_Eddy Requesting thread clean up, we can leave the reference to above thread in this one.

Price dropped to 16,500/- Shipping charges included. Its still unactiavted brand new unit. Forgot to Bump the thread due to ongoing courier issue on another sale thread.

In light of recent shipping theft (now recovered) that happened on the iPhone 11 deal.
Options for shipping:
Seller arranged: Delhivery with accurate declaration of product & value
Buyer arranged: as per buyers choice, book a pickup from seller's address with mode, vendor, etc. of your choice.
In either cases, full single e2e packing video, package dimensions will be shared by me & the same has to be done by buyer for unboxing too.
