Default Videocon 32" LCD for PC Monitor

Is the videocon haute with resolution 1366x768 a good choice for a pc monitor or should i stick with 42" LG plasma pq series of the same resolution.
My primary goal is to see movies and play games.
I can get the videocon for 22k and the lg for 38k.

A 32" lcd TV could be a pain if used as a monitor.
Ideally, there should be a viewing distance proportional to the monitor size.

well
i have tried using my 32" Bravia 1920*1080 as monitor. The text isnt crisp [compared to even my samsung 17" flat CRT @ 1280*960] and i doubt if it ll be even readable for a 1366x768 on 32".
Also it shud be min 3.5~5 feet from your eyes.
For movies and games, it ll be OK.
Again in games, you will have to use min of 4X AA and 8X AF to prevent edge jaggies and blurs as those can be clearly visible on a 32" screen.
