Hey Igo, every component is fine, just change mobotherboard to EVGA one Rahul0303 selling one for 2350 approx + Shipping, has nvidia chippy for graphics + Latest chipset + cheaper. Dont go for D101 as the chipset is old, it has only 2 SATA ports and one one or 2 DIMM Slots. Bsicaly mobo is too old.
2GB Transced shoudl be around 1400 rs. makes more sense than buying 512 X 2 for 1300-1400 or so...

Why not opt for a Sempron + 690V or a Intel E1200 + Biostar 7050.

The key being not only cheap but low power. nVidia chipsets are not really power friendly. PLUS, it's going to be headless rig. Absolutely ZERO gaming or productivity work is going to take place on it. I don't need that kinda power. What is the point of getting that kinda power and not use it.

Right now, I think.. waiting is the best thing to do. Getting Atom or VIA's new Nano processor makes much more sense to me. Plus, smaller the size of proccy+mobo is better. I don't care much of features. Single DIMM... fine, 2 SATA... fine. shitty onboard... absolutely fine (headless rig = no display). The only important thing to me is having SATA port and Gigabit lan.

^ Yep... it seems the current available Atom board D945GCLF, doesn't have gigalan onboard. But if I get it for the cost it mentioned ($82 = 3280 approx), then I guess I can use that lone PCI slot for gigalan card.. hehe. Either way, it still fares tad better to this : JetWay J7F4K1G5D-PB. Now this VIA thing has dual gigabit lan onboard, that's probably the only plus on that.

Or better yet... I'm sure we will be seeing more options in coming few months. So deals are bound to get better, aren't they?
