chieftec does sell transperant side covers, but arihant doesn't import them, I also searched everywhere but I couldn't find them, so i got it modded my self from nana chowk, the modding came out well except around the lock
here are the pix

Cost of modding: Rs.460/-

I guess, i'll have to stick with my opaque side cover for the time being..the area around the lock is really a big problem.. N i've got big issues with scratches and paint chips coming off..just cant stand them..So i'll prolly stick to the factory design..

Btw, cant this cutting be done on a cnc machine? It gives pretty good results, i've heard..i wont mind paying more if the job done is perfect.. Does ne1 know anything about it?

work by Raghu with only one really terrible mistake.. using super glue to stick the tubings and all of it is one hell of a mess

as you can see there is no space to attach the plexi glass

you just have to tell him to go around the lock, he will do it properly, if you tell him to do it carefully, there wont even be a scratch, if you want to get it machine cut, you would have to buy a dremel, which will cost you around 2k, i don't know where to get it machine cut, thats why got it cut by a blade.
