Hmm Questions with 80mm Fans.

my config is in my signature.
The problem is with my cabinet Fan.
The cabinet has three fans installed.
One fan parallel to the CPU creates lot of noise. sometimes rotates slower. i have to stick a "+" Screwdriver which stops the fan and the grinding noise and the fan begins operation normally.
The Question is my Fan covered under warranty?
The fans have molex connectors for power.
If the fans are to be claimed for warranty do i need to carry the whole case or just remove the fan.
if not under warranty then how do i get rid of the noise.
O what i remember once when i was cleaning the fans for dust since then the fan has begun making noise.
If it cant be repaired then what would be the price of a new fan?

Are u sure te noise is coming within the fan?
Screwing loosely to the cabinet makes a hell lot of din due to vibration

local 80mm black fans costs 50 bucks and will do the job. The best vfm fan ive seen is Blue 80mm fan for 100 bucks
runs for around 3000rpm, which is faster than most sub 400 bucks fans.
glacialtech 80mm blue led fans which retails for 450 bucks too are great and runs at a max of 4000rpm, and might get bit noisy at such speeds. But its not the noise which is caused by bearing issues like the issue u have now. Its the noise of air pushing. U can connect it to mobo connector to limit its speed and reduce noise.

And i dun think fans are covered under warranty, which comes with cabby. They are cheap ones and shudnt cost more than 75 bucks. Just unscrew the fan and get a new one.

yes, Fans are covered under warranty. not to carry the whole setup..just the faulty fan needs to be given to distributor for an exchange.
I got mine 120mm fan of hyper 212 cooler replaced. Try writing mail to Zebronics directly,if u have luck u might get fan replaced.
Try as gowtham says noise also might be due to screw adjustments... try tightening the screw a bit...

ya, good way to go.

spending on 400~700 bucks on fans isnt recommended unless u need excellent cooling and ensured long life for fans.
For normals users, 50 bucks one is more than enough.
