Default need a pc with budget as low as possible...

will get it in couple of days

1.as low as possible (around 13k my uncle doesnt want to spend much on his daughters pc)

Thanks for the replies guys( anubis, karthik007 and saqib_khan). as i want a low cost one better to go with amd. any other way to reduce cost other than going with atom.( will find out about the crt, will ask him if crt is ok)

Cabinet: Low cost mercury/iball/zebronics cabinet w/ bundled 400W SMPS - 1.2k
Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k
Monitor: ACER 15.6" - X163 - 4.8k
Keyboard: Samsung Pleomax - .2k
Mouse: Logitech Optical - .4k

Total: 14.8k.

ya i agree with saqib_khan better to skip atom, as it would be used for some programming.

If you need to reduce the cost more then the only option is a 17" CRT monitor~3k(NEW) or a old one for 1.5-2k.
By this way you can bring down the cost to 13k.

Under that budget you can go for Atom also. Combo comes for 3K. But I wont recommend that. You can also go for AMD Sempron & VIA Chipset motherboard.
