Default my new lcd giving me a headache, how do i configure?

hi mates, i just bought a dell 18.5" lcd monitor, i used to have a samsung 17"crt. this new lcd is giving me headache, specially browsing and working. movies look great though. how do i configure it?

Brightness might be too high. lower it to something like 30-50 ,depending on what suit's you. Also adjust the contrast accordingly . Hope it helps.

Try Brightness around 60 and Contrast around 90.

Remember Contrast shud be kept high around 80-95 and brightness around 45-60

I usually keep brightness @ 64 and Contrast @ 92

AFAIK, Refresh rates have no bearing on an LCD.

OMG! I tried this and it looked weird.

I have my contrast on 60 and brightness 100.

just goto its default modes like samsung has a movie mode text mode and stuff and select text wen browsing and movie wen watcing movie simple as that
