Help making new rig

hey ppl......
i want to upgrade my rig....as undercover is not running properly on my current rig

my current rig

amd 3800x2 dual core @ 2.2 ghz
1 gb corsair value select @ 400 mhz
a8ne mobo
7900gt 256mb card
460w vantec true power psu

i wan to change only above 4 things....wont change psu if not required

as i wil be using my pc juz for 1 yr , i don wan to spend too much......something like 20 k

juz keep in mind while giving advice that will my 460w vantec supply b able to take the load.......its true power neways

also hw much can i expect for my old rig???? that price can be added on 20 k

Firstly, you want an upgrade only for undercover? What are current settings its running on?

The only thing I feel you need to upgrade is your ram.

Get 2 gig more and you can easily play at 720p

I know get a stik of 1/2 GB RAM....

see he wants to upgrade his gpu too.. im pretty sure...(selfish !@#..lol)

ya i wan to upgrade it so that i can ply every game at mid settings for nxt whole yr

get 1 more stick of ram and oc the proccy...
i dont think jus to play nfs undercover u need to change whole from the list.

Can you please tell what is the resolution and at what settings are using while playing the game..?

at 640 * 480 at all low settings......havnt tried others coz i wanted to play it without lag.......but i guess at 800*600 and at low-med setting....it runs.....problem comes when cops are chasing me......

You can sell the above rig to somebody for about 7K min.(dont change PSU) [you can sell it to a newbee for more too if you wanted] I'm recommending this as every item you have is /was high end during its era so upgrading a few items will not do you'll have to replace entire system to get a good performance.

For 20 K get the following config.

Ram : Transcend 2X2gb Powerchip Transcend Rs.1200*2 = Rs.2400/-

MOBO : MSI P45 Neo F Rs.5500/-

GFX : Palit HD 4830 Rs.8400/-

CPU : Intel C2D E7300 Rs.5800/-

The above config will be game ready for 1year at least.
Wait for more recommendations.

HD 4830 Rs.8400/- is a ripoff.

You can get 4850 for 500 bucks more.

ya that time my pc was like :-O ..... my mobo was 6k , proccy 11k ram 5k and card 18k

Why I say, for just 1 game, you want to spend soo much when you could get it done in much less.

dude......i agree that playin undercover is a major concern.....but thats nt the only game i play.......i even play crysis,grid,call of duty.........and i was sick of playin them at low graphics........so i found undercover as an excuse to upgrade my rig.........

let me say that i wan to upgrade my comp in 22 k......wt nw ??????
