Query entry level rig for my brother

Hello evry1!!!

i need ur suggestion for making a entry level rig for my brother...

basic requirements

1-->for MS Office work
2-->for watching TV,Movies & listening to some music
3-->for internet

He is thinking of buying Benq G2412HD(to watch TV) so this is final

so pls suggest other stuff to buy

AMD & Intel both are good so im not biased...
pls also suggest a good wireless k/b mouse combo & a gud TV tuner card

Budget is 16K-20K(cant be stretched any further)

so guys pls help me with this...

Athlon II X2 240 - 3050
Biostar TA785GXE 128M - 3500
2GB Kingston/Transcend - 1800
WE Blue or Seagate 500GB 7200.12 -2200
Zebronics Bijli - 1100
Logitech EX110 -- 1200
Gigabyte Superb - 2200
Total - 15050.
TV Tuner - Not sure. But get the above rig. Most VFM.

get vijay's config, for PSU if availability is issue then you can get zebby 350 pro also. Cordless or corded KB/mouse is your choice.

I would like to make some changes in above mentioned config...


go for Biostar 785G mobo for 3.5k

Zebby bijli with gigabyte PSU 460W or Zebby pro 350W PSU...

Get a 785G MoBo with Athlon II X2 240. Get Hauppauge WinTV PVR150MCE TV Tuner card. It is the best you can get for under 2k. It’s an amazing card for its price & features. Don’t look at anything else. Wireless KB+Mouse = Microsoft (anyday). Get 2GB of RAM (DDR3 is better). Cooler Master Elite 335 cabinet with PSU combo and APC UPS and your set.
