I got an Dell 24" S2409w Full HD 1080 LCD last week and the package does comes with dvi cable, but doesn't include the hdmi cable. I also bought an XFX 4770 512 mb DDr5 video card which includes DVi to HDmi Adapter.

Now i would like to know how far is the clarity between the dvi sub and hdmi - percentage?

Shall i buy an hdmi cable or use the included dvi-sub cable?

HDMI cable gives the same digital input as the DVI. The only difference is that HDMI is capable of sending audio also in case you need to hear that through your tiny speakers on the monitor!

Nway to answer your question, there is no difference between the HDMi and DVI quality as they are both the same with HDMI = DVI + Audio.

Stick with the DVI cable if you already have a good sound setup.
