Check the cable on the CRT. If its loose, has pins bent it does produce color effects as you mentioned.
I have a Samsung SyncMaster 793s and suddenly today when i switched my PC on,my monitor color was a tinted Yellow
I tried my system on a friends monitor and its working fine

Cable problem. You can get it repaired for a few hundred bucks.

Try Degauss once.
then check cables,if both doesn't work then the problem is with IC on board.
that can be fixed by 400-500 bucks.

I did check the cables and the pins seems to be fine
And did degaussing but nothing
I guess,I have to submit the monitor to the local PC hardware dealer![]()

just try to replace the cable once before going to the service shop, if that fails then it could be the tube
