It will be better if you provide the requirement list explicitly. It seems like you are upgrading, so may be no need of monitor / keybd & mouse etc..

Thumbs Up Re: Best balanced config for new PC

AMD Phenom II X2 955 BE -> 12.5k
Biostar TA790GXB -> 4.5k
Corsair xms2 2GB -> 1.5k
Corsair VX450 -> 4k
Sapphire 4770 -> 7.5k
Zebronics Bijli -> 1k

Total ~31k

Advantage :- As X4 955 BE is the best VFM quad core and AM3, you can later upgrade just changing to DDR3 mobo and RAM.

If you are strictly under 30k budget then get CX400 instead of VX450.

If you can increase your budget to 33k then get a Biostar TA790GX AM3 and DDR3 RAM. (with VX450)

P.S. - You may add another 2GB of RAM according to your requirements.

SMPS: Gigabyte GE-R460-V1/Black Diamond 400 Watts/Black Diamond 500 Watts

any second thought on the above listed SMPS.(Note:Corsair VX450 is good )

upgradation from CRT to LCD. My choice Benq E2200HD,E2400HD,G2220HD,G2412HD.

What is major difference between E & G series? What will be the best on (12500-13000)?

Any user opinion on LCD....

Thanks

If your budget for PSU is ~4k, then get the VX450 without any thought. Otherwise CX400 (3.2k) is also pretty descent. And if you want one under 2.5k, get the Gigabyte 460W. Depends upon your budget.
