Who here is on ASUS P5B Dlx + E8400 ?

iirc it is Sandy's mobo, Chaos and Supra benched, same score submitted to TE Super Pi thread.

Is this the same chip u have passed me funky... I thought this one died and you have passed me the fresh one which you got through RMA...

The one you have is fresh.

But its same batch, same stepping as the chip used for that run..

Right out of the box it did 4G @ 1.38v. same setting as old.

This stepping can take you to 4.8 SPi benchable on air for sure. Will need some work to get there though. But with P5B Dlx you wont be able to match the scores of P35 boards Specially that IP35 Pro run.


The next set of batches which are now selling in India ate 807 and 808 week.

807 seems decent. But 808 is PITA to clock above 4.2-4.3G even after pushing some voltage to the chip.

None of them are as good as Q746 which is now all sold out.

evga GTX280
PCP&C 610W PS (49a on +12v)(170W-38a max)
Lian Li A16 w/ 4 120x25 Minebea case fans
CL X-Fi sound
XP 32bit

You all know this MB and CPU very well...who could send me your bios settings to help me get an OC of around 4.0 or so....I'm not trying to get 4.2 or 4.3...this will be only my second OC....HELP...
