The IP35 PRO - has a very hot PWM area. Many times the springs that mount it have more pressure on one side then the other so it lifts a bit. You can reseat it or at least attach a fan to the heatsink to move the air away.

^^ Strange.. This is the first time I see a recommend top intake and rear exhaust. Wont the cool air from the top intake be sucked out by the exhaust if they are close and perpendicular??

@devesh, You can try both and see which works better for you. Monitor and record the temps on idle and load now. reverse the top and check the temps again.

Very informative. There is on mistake I am doing. My top fans are fighting for air as the top as well as top back vents, both have exhaust fans. Can change that easily though.

No mate in that case, the cool air will come from inake and they will take the hot air from the cpu area and will blow it outside via the exhaust

Now this will make it 3 intakes( front, side and top) and only one exhaust (rear) which will cause a lot of air to be stuck up inside. In this case, the rear needs to be a 2x120mm with a lot of cfm.

If you check the guide there is no side fan, i have already spoken about the top and the read fans, and about the front intake, thats fan will cool the HDD and also the gpu area.

IMO the cooling system discussed is for system with pcie gpu.
