on the same topic..

i tried my luck with iDeneb and Leo4all ...no go with amd setup mentioned in my sig.
haven't tried them on any intel based machine..
i also put up queries at iHachintosh forum but hardly anyone cared to reply.

i have tried different boot flags but no success.

@madnav i have the same mobo & cpu combo, have been using iPC OSx86 10.5.6 with the same but on VM, works like a charm boots in 25 secs flat.
Things that are not working is USB, and audio which works but the output is very jerky.
This might be due to my X-Fi soundcard...
The overall speed is good and even it used to work with my older mobo + cpu combo...
Asus M2Ne & Phenom 8450 and AMD x64 3000+ & Foxconn mobo

Why don't you try the same on VM ???

as far as i remember sound is jerky on an AMD setup due to the dual core thing
you can try
-Type -v idlehalt=0 cpus=2 at boot
see if it helps
with this my boot was faster and sound was perfect after that
I was using IPC on AMD turion

did not try iPC
iDeneb that is tried was based on 10.5.7 and
Leo4all is v4.1 ..supposed to be most successive with amd..
none of them work in Vmware either.
will try my luck on some intel machine just to verify whether the distros i have are working or not.

Default Re: OS X leopard install on PC ?

Hi!

There are a lot of Hackintosh Distris and am confused. I had downloaded iDeneb 1 year back and it didn't work for me

My PC Specs Summary is as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Asus M2N8-VMX (with Geforce 6100 GPU and Integrated Sound)
4 GB DDR2-800 Memory
Seagate 500 GB 7200.11 HDD SATA

Would you guys suggest which Distri to go for AMD?

As someone mentioned no one responds to threads Hackintosh forums.

Any help appreciated.

Any specific version of iPC or the latest one? Also, does everything like USB, Sound and Video work properly or does it depend?
