Is there a way to install bootable isos of cds' like Hirensboot cd / ultimate boot cd on a USB pen drive??:cool2:
i have a Transcend 1 GB pendrive....the software it comes with has the option only to make a bootable from a floppy as the source...

thnx but u are not understanding my needs...what i want to do is not install a OS on my pendrive///
i want to write a bootable disaster recovery kit to a Pen drive...( like HBCD,UBCD,etc)

Is there any way to make a USB Drive Dos Bootable...

not sure of DOS but Windows Xp Sp2 on a 512mb drive is possible..there is a download @ torrents....(i had seen it like a week ago , so it must be still floatin around)

Are you saying you don't have a floppy drive ?
Find a friend who does and then follow :
Hiren's BootCD From USB Flash Drive (Pen Drive) - www.hiren.info
I created a DOS bootable USB using the Transcend utility on Win Me ( you don't need a floppy with Me/9x ). And then more or less followed instructions in the link above.2012 ! The end is near.
