Default Help with Vista Backup

Hello folks, having a bit of an issue here.

My Seagate 400GB primary drive seems to be on its way out. Now it has 3 partitions, 1 which is the primary with Vista x64 and other 2 had data (Which is already backed up).

Now

Can I make some sort of Image of the Vista partition so that I can directly copy that image on a new WD640 and my OS will be back to where it was?

If yes, which software will do the job for me?

Thanks a ton!

+1 for acronis. I just restored an image this weekend (Seagate 250Gb crashed and had to RMA it. The image saved me from a lot of reinstalling )

^ Thanks a ton, downloading rightaway!

Btw, how bad does this look? Because I can feel one of the partitions on the drive slowing down while copying to 5-6 MB/sec, and the BIOS is also throwing up a SMART error.

Backup ur drive quick. SMART error means its about to go anytime You might as well do an RMA if theres a center closeby. Tell them HDD slows down/makes Noise and SMART status shows failure.
