Event ID:4226 Win XP64 SP2 Help!

I keep getting this message every couple of hours or so. The lvlord site does not have a fix for this under Winxp64 Sp2.......any suggestions to fix this.

TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

Get tcpip fix 223d, change the connections to 100, reboot. That should do it.

none of the above is for XP64 SP2.

The vista one may work, but the command bcedit.....does not work on xp64, so though the patch works, windows restores the original file back. How does one disabe that?

any other suggestions

Boot into safe mode, disable system restore and then apply the patch.

Thanks Kingkrool......but the Vista 64 bit version does not work with XP64 SP2 will have to continue my search for a fix

Maybe you should see if you can slow down your P2P s/w. You don't really need so many concurrent connection attempts. It doesn't speed anything up you know.

or you can ignore it . its just a warning not an error
