Dont Install Vista SP1 RC1

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know, dont try to install Vista SP1 RC1 via the registry hack for the english version of Vista.

Its causing many or all of the following issues:
1. Permanent boot failure
2. Activation reset
3. Control panel icon disappear
4. Internet connection failure

Reports negative on more than 90% systems RC1 was installed on MSDN developer forums.

Do you mean SP1 RC1? Or just RC1?

I've heard from reliable sources, the rc1 of sp1 is pretty stable and is prob the last release before its finally shipped..

I cant give you the source as you wont be able to see it. (Neither I am allowed to though.)

BTW, you are saying RC1 of SP1 is stable? Its not even released yet. Its only available through a registry hack to normal users which I am telling you not to use.

Then i take it that it does not exist...

Dont spread false rumours,,,else back it up with proof...The only thing that might be true in what u said is abt the activation nothing else,,,

beta ver of vista SP1 was working fine .. I donno wat they have done to this RC1
