Darkstar, i m asking for Nokia PC suite/ & or Nokia modem drivers for linux.
As i browse net on my lappy/PC through nokia phone having GPRS. So i need drivers for nokia phone modem ( included in PC suite), which i need if switches to linux from windows.

okay you want to browse Internet using your Phone as a Modem?

yeah, that can be done!

i am using nokia 5200 in Linux since ages to connect via Airtel mobile Office.
It works out nicely, but speeds on GPRS even with EDGE has reduced so i use it very less. Broadband is rocking here

me too - getting the 64-bit desktop live CD ISO. i think it's high time (especially since i got 4gb ram) to switch over to 64-bit goodness

Other known issues

Firefox 3

Ubuntu 8.04 includes Firefox 3.0 beta 5. This was felt to be the best option despite its pre-release status, in light of the extended support lifetime of Ubuntu 8.04 and the importance and complexity of Firefox security updates. Further release candidates and the final release may be considered for post-release updates.

consider this release candidate to be complete, stable, and suitable for
testing by any user. so its safe to upgarde now, to avoid the release rush & madness.

24April is going to be a mad day
Seems to me that if you are downloading via torrent, this would be a good thing .. going to download today with the rest of the masses

i hope you folks are not downloading an old ISO (RC rather than final release)... the filename should not have -rc- in it
