Tried seesmic and tweetdeck using AIR in linux but it is too heavy on my system. I also tried gtwitter and mitter but they are not feature rich. anybody knows a good twitter client application that is lightweight but offers the regular features like url shortening etc.?
I think AIR based clients are heavy due to AIR and client both running so I think native linux clients would be the best.
Ubuntu is an ancient african word, meaning "I can't configure Debian"
Try "gwibber" , I have heard it mentioned now and then on mailing lists and forums... it supports twitter and also the open source (freedom) system called identi.ca![]()
