i think using "Alt+mouse scroll" combination, u can change the transparency.
I'll confirm once i reach home

then try, Ctrl+scroll, shift+scroll.
BTW, r u using Beryl or Compiz, it might have an effect.

It only works in Compiz and Beryl bro. I tried in both and the shortcut key was indeed "Alt+mouse scroll". R u using Compiz or Beryl?
It won't work in the default GNOME Metacity window manager.

No I am not using is it systen heavy? Tell me how to use it/? Is it pre installed or I need to install it from net. Hoe to enable t help

Feisty comes with a bunch of FX which are there by default. all you have to do is install the nvidia driver. Though i had beryl in both 6.06 and 6.10, i find that the default FX in feisty is more than enough ( plus beryl was beginning to get too superficial, and not to forget that most of beryl's fancy stuff wanted shaders , which my 4MX didnt have )
With the default desktop FX , my pc is rock stable
but the Nvidia drivers killed the screensavers though, dunno why. whenever a screensaver kicked in pc would hang
PS , in 6.06/6.10, beryl made video playback a bit laggy. default FX are super smooth

Currently in my OLD PC I am having Intel Extreme Graphics 2 will it work in it

Seems basic desktop effects = compiz
i think they should run, as long as you can get the hardware drivers
look in System -> Preferences -> Desktop Effects.

Here is my desktop simple too simple. I wanna add something i it but can't use berly cause of low system spes
