are you sure that sticker will come with the shipit cds? it looks like some hardware OEM programme... but i prefer this smaller "powered by ubuntu" sticker anyday

Nope, I'm gonna be installing Kubuntu on my Wooden LAMP server, plus the stickers were an attraction. Will PM you once I'm doing my setup if I run into roadblocks, cheers!

Dude, I'm a Linux n00b and I prefer having the GUI. Besides its a home LAMP box for more of torrent downloads/uploads and remote access.

Well, once everyone was a newbie except linus.
thats not a problem you will learn fast.

Buddy, CLI is very powerfull, don't get scared from CLI.
The main Areas where CLI would help it doing boring repetitive tasks.
Like encoding,eg mconder via cron can encode videos overnight automatically & then move it on your laptop when finished.

Besides GUI, are not efficient, as they consume too much resources.
Go th CLI way...
