@darkstar: are you expecting additional options in that screenshot after installing CCSM? what i was saying is that will not change, but you have a separate entry in the preferences menu called something like "advanced desktop settings" or "advanced visual styles" - dont remember because dont have latest ubuntu with CCSM in front of me atm
Its nice to have so many improvements including Kernel, but then I was not able to download and the website says " Too many users " Looks like I will get Fedora 9 when fedora 10 is released.
Can anyone help me in getting another link for Fedora 9 download.
It is really overloaded. I am looking forward to 64bit and even my present Fedora 8 is 64 bit.
The page itself will take higher than normal time to load and then whenever I click on that link, I get messsage of some code and the message " Too Many users .."
Fedora must be taught to tap the exciement of those who are planning platform shift ( although the shift will happen slowly and steadily ).
Well, I can download the small torrent file and send it to you (to download the actual ISO) if you tell me exactly which file you want the site is working fine for me...
edit: since im going out, posting some mirrors where you can get your own stuff:
Fedora 9 is filled with beta stuff..
its gettin bugging now...
esp the issue with nvidia drivers, xorg, n the lousy login manager that cannot be changed..
^^No you are a bit wrong.. F9 might not work for every one.. Because Fedora focuses on Free and open sources philosophy.. Thats why people face problem regarding nvidia/ati and nonfree driver
