I have a Linksys WRT54G router and need to extend the range. So I was thinking of picking up a pair of 9dbi antenna. So basically what I wanted to ask is that are they available at Lamington Road or any other place in Mumbai. Any approx price or shop where it is available?
Here is the link of antenna I am talking about

Extend the range as in from point to point (like from one building to another) or for the whole house?
'cos, if it is the former, you are better off with cantenna...otherwise, did you try boosting the Tx power of the router with 3rd party firmware (Tomato/DD-WRT)?
Extending range for the house (basically one room where signal doesnt reach). So an antenna would do the job right? I donot plan to install any third party firmware.
I tried making this kinda thing.. It worked littlebit, atleast for my house.. I could get range from 1st floor to ground.. I could easily stream Youtube videos with iPhone
