You need to ask the people at the place from where you bought the iPhone to update the warranty information. Had to do so for my Macbook, so I guess its the same for iPhone.

Yeah, that has happened to me too. But my Vodafone mobile connect plan works without a hitch so I'm not sweating it.

^^ Well, I guess he meant "Edge Menu" and not Edge icon. That menu was available in 1.x firmwares but apple has disabled it in 2.x series! As mentioned by ashu_dps, "APN Editing" from cydia fixes it.

hmm, ya..My bad
Actually Apple hasn't disabled the Edge Menu
Just that Airtel and Vodafone are on their list of supported Service providers and the APN is already available so you do not need to manually enter it

Pop in a Cellone /Reliance/whatever SIM card and the menu will re-appear

make sure that iTunes is running and the phone has wifi access, then just start the remote app and click add library if it doesnt find one by default, once you select a library it'll show you a 4 digit code .... you'll see the phone name in the right side window of itunes just click on it and enter the shown code and it should work

your network has to have a name.. Just that your router is set to not broadcast the SSID (network name)

Just look up the ntwk SSID in your router settings or enable SSID broadcast

Okay after lots of trial and errors finally got it to work

Now is it really necessary to put on a scratch guard?I live in trivandrum and looked everywhere but couldn't find one.

You could try gettting a full body cover from sites like ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | or Best Skins Ever , which ship to India for a nominal charge
