Nokia 5233 Memory card inserted wrongly,stuck

HI,

Today I got my new 5233. I inserted the memory card wrongly by mistake. Phone is reading the data in the card, but I am not able to pull it out.

I tried the below frommanual, but still it stuck

1. If the device is switched on, before you remove the card, press the power key,
and select Remove memory card.
2. When Remove memory card? Some applications will be closed. is displayed,
select Yes.
3. When Remove memory card and press 'OK' is displayed, open the cover of the
memory card slot.
4. Press the memory card to release it from the slot.
5. Pull out the memory card. If the device is switched on, select OK.


The issue is phone is releasing the mem card, but pulling it out is not possible. Its stuck like anything...I am afraid to pull it with all my efforts as it might break

You'll need a good pair of tweezers to pull it out. I was in a similar situation recently. A pair of tweezers from my wife's vanity case, saved the day for me.

does the pulling does not hurt the phone?

That is why I said a good pair of tweezers. Try to get hold of a pair which has a good grip and at the same time, is a little thin from the edge. If you do it carefully, you'll be able to pull it out without damaging the phone. If you take it to Nokia Care, they too will do the same thing.

Why don't you take your phone to a Nokia service center and they can do it for you , if you afraid for bricking your mobile then take it to Nokia or some local mobile shop near your place !

i dont think it was wrongly inserted. In my 5233 also, it was a bit hard to pull out the card.

^^ yeah me too had the same experience with my 5230

It cannot be incorrectly inserted, if it is reading data.
