Mobile for browsing

Need to buy a mobile with budget of around 35k INR (as mobiles are cheaper here than in India )

1.Main usage will be browsing on WIFI
2.Music
3.Watching videos


Thinking of buying E90 Black edition which is available here for around 34K INR
second preference is E71 white edition which is available here for around 20K INR

Seriously i dont want to spend much but i like the k/b and screen of E90 which will be very good for browsing and E90 will match my personality as i am huge

PS: you might think the prices are higher here, but mind you both the phones i have mentioned are special colours and not available in market easily.Also the rupee value has decreased a lot from last month, 2 months back 1AED= 11 INR approx.Now 1 AED = 13.0768 INR.

In all 3 aspects, nothing can beat even come close to Iphone. If these are the consideration, buy Iphone without any thought.

Regarding browsing, nothing is compared to Iphone being touch phone. I own N95 8 GB, HTC TYTN II and IPOD touch 16 GB and I can guarantee that go for iphone for said requirements. Browsing is not so pleasant in any symbian phone compared to any touch phone

And my dear, hows your experience while browsing the Flash enabled websites? Must be cool on the big iPhone screen i guess

1. For browsing on Wifi, E71 or E90 would be my suggestion. Good battery performance and a nice screen with FLASH support.

2. No idea how iPhone's performance is in this department, but cant recommend that given its price. Today, any of the smartphones would give you descent music performance. If you are totally into music, Samsung has that new music phone with 3d Surround Experience.

3. For videos, i would suggest the N85 (still not available). The colors on the OLED screen are supposed to rock and the screen should provide an excellent video playback experience. But if you want to be able to play the widest range of formats including FLV and DivX / Xvid, go for a S60 phone.

iPhone. By a long, long margin. Or you can always go the functional phone (A la E51i) + iPod Touch route.

frankly, who needs flash content while browsing on the go

and as for phones that do supposedly support it, lol, they can't even handle light html pages properly, forget handling a full fledged flash only site without the device crawling to a stop
If there indeed is a flaw with the iPhone browser (which those random e-mail oh-iphone-is-so-silly forwards dont talk abt) but IMO is a far serious flaw is that pages using heavy javascripting slow down the response (e.g. try posting a reply back on a TE thread)
Hopefully that will be corrected in the next FW iteration, if rumors are to be believed

How will be the text input experience like ??

I am seriously not into Apple products, although i have used Ipod classic and Iphone 2g.Found tooo many basic functions missing in iphone 3g.Can we fix it by some soft mods ?

Like video recording,file transfer via bluetooth etc etc...

If you are ready to jailbreak, then you can get free video recording apps and some other awesome apps. File transfer via Bluetooth is something thats not possible right now. There is a project running for that, but I dont think it will ever see the light of the day.

The diamond will be good for brwosing without doubt with the newer opera, add to it the possibility of using any of the plethora of media players avaiable and enjoying the nirvana on ur A2DP headset.

The looks aint that bad either.
