I have an n73 with about 400 contacts and recently got an 6630 .How do i go about and transfer contacts from n73 to 6630??.

1)I have tried sending contacts over blue-tooth it did not work.Tried transfer from tools menu in n73 even that failed.

2)Tried using PC suite even that failed ,was getting only main contact details not the complete details.

3)Do not want to copy them to sim and transfer coz sim doesn't support multiple numbers for a single contact.

Can some one help me out

    TIA

    Use this app

    Best vCard (Symbian) - Download

Using this you can save all your contacts in a file and can export the same using the same app.

You would just have to install this app on both of your cells.

First connect N73 to your pc. Copy the contacts from contacts manager in PC suite and connect your 6630 and copy those contacts through transfer wizard.

Else, go with the Roxtin suggesion.

    Solution

    >Connect n73 to PC

    >Open up PC Suite>Back Up Phone Contents>Back Up>Contacts

This will save your n73 contacts in a back up folder on your PC. So now

    >Connect 6630 to PC

    >Open up PC Suite>Back Up Phone Contents>Restore.. the already saved folder should pop up somewhere here. Select it and the contacts will be saved to your new phone.

    Simple solution..

Use sites like zyb.com to sync over GPRS. For this to work you will have to have SyncML support on your phone.

It wont take much of a data transfer and you will get a good backup on the web. Then you can sync this database with any mobile.

I donno whether both of your phones have syncML support.(Most probably it should be having since recent good mobiles all have)
