i din clearly get ur question but i guess this is the answer 4 u. if u see the iphone architecture it was made in the sense of only adding 1 button on its face ...... besides that there is one POWER button on the top + volume control & Silent mode button on the side .
And it does have multi touch interface which is so damm COOL !!! trust me guyz it has made my life easy !!!!

The iPhone 3G is here in India on 18th August with Vodafone!

Also i would like to know whether you can download these games and apps onto your iphone or do these apps and games reside on the net and you need to go to their websites to play/use these?? Also how much do these cost??

unlike the 60 series NOKIA or any other cellphones we need to download softwares from various sites and then transfer it to our CELL

but IPHONE its so damm easy

there is an inbuilt "installer" software in the iphone UNLOCKED version (not in 2.0 yet) when u open it .... it will show u all the softwares available for the iphone all u gotta do it choose the software from there and install it .........

well but here is the catch ..... "installer" is an software that downloads the software thru net .... so u need 2 b connected to the net using WIFI or EDGE connection. datz it

ALMOST 90% of the amazing software and games are FREE in the 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 version

the bitter fact is that .... the softwares that were free on the 1.1.4 are now paid softwares on the 2.0 ........... so if u want lotta free stuff stick to 1.1.4 .....untill some genius comes out with the ahem softwares for 2.0


but i am still planin to switch to 2.0 and UNLOCK it. maybee ill do it today. but i am still confused is it a wise decision to switch to 2.0 ?

YES TOTALLY ...... there are thousands of third party apps ...

You need to have a jailbroken phone which allows read-write access to the filesystem. Installer has nothing to do with unlocking. And it is available on a jailbroken (read:pwnaged) 2.0 as well. It is called Cydia if I am not wrong


They were free because there was no model/software in place which could allow paid software. With the advent of Appstore, many third-party developers have moved from providing their application via unofficial "Installer" sources to the official Apple "AppStore".

On a jailbroken phone, you have the option of getting software either via official channel (Apples AppStore) or via unofficial channels( Installer)

Cydia is on JB 2.0 but it is gay bullshit !!! trust me !!! .... Installer 4.0 will come up soon & i guess it will be compatible with the 2.0 iphone

yea all those free apps are now moved up to the "App Store" and now they have 2 be paid 2 use ....... cant wait for a nice forum which will provide the AHEM version of those apps

so in 1 year they can grasp in 25K .....
