I would say definately go for the dv6 1319tx. I just bought it last friday. I do 3d modeling on it and photoshop and mediocre gaming. this is great.

BTW I got it for 53100k @ chandni kolkata. No accesories just carry case. I've installed windows 7 home prem x64 and it's flying Also this model has 500gb hdd which I don't think the other models have.

But my vendor said that the OS is Win 7 Home 32Bit.
Any major diff between 32bit and 64 bit?
All the current Games (Batman AA,Street Fighter,PES 10) are running with the Win 7 OS without issues?

But for XP mode, you need Win 7 professional edition or Ultimate edition...

- As far as recent games are concerned, almost all the games will run in Win 7.
- And Classic games are CS, FEAR, Quake, UT, AOM, RON, MOH- earlier series, COD 1,2 (List can go further) are running totally well (without any crash or lag or whatever) on Vista. And IMO there should not be any issue with Win 7. (pretty sure, but not 100%)

Get the AMD based Laptop. I like AMD for they provide the best VFM and perform beautifully. Also, having the entire platform from one company (Motherboard, processor, graphics), it is made sure that they work seamlessly.

^ Super Find mate. +1 for your suggestion
Only thing would matter here is the color of the notebook, which is "pinky pink". :p

Some details on GPU.
Notebookcheck: NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M

And for your virtual Mode needs, P8700 will handle it easily.
