My GMail account sending spam - Help :(

somehow my gmail account is sending the following spam message to everyone in my contacts list

this is getting highly annoying. And within a few days has happened a few times already

Read this, this may help you.. Better you contact Gmail staff itself.. They can solve it in better way...

Change the password..
If you are using a desktop mail client, then check you computer for malware, viruses etc..

i dont think they need to use his account at all. spoofing an email address is not hard to do

First of all, disable POP and IMAP access and then see.

the same thing happened to my sis's account.
but the company mentioned was some indian company i think.

yup,
check ur local PC for viruses, trojan's, etc.
change password of ur gmail account.
remove POP/IMAP settings on local client.
