    Going back to IE6

    Hi,

Here I go with my first post.

Out of curiosity I upgraded to IE8 which is too 'vigilant'. I am not allowed to make some of the security changes reqd for our CRM site. Now I want to go back to IE6. Pls tell me how.

    Re: Going back to IE6

What is your OS? If it is XP, there should be an entry for IE8 in Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs. Just uninstall from there.

If Vista, go to Control Panel >> Programs and Features. On the left side panel, click on "View installed updates". Find the entry for IE8 and then uninstall.

Restart PC after uninstallation is complete.
