I have 9600GT and its like around 2 years old. It was working fine, all the latest games used to play on decent FPS even on 1980 resolution until one fine bad day i took it out on a ride to pune. The card was lying idle in my bag for 3 days ,

and when i came back plugged it in again tried playing games I saw sudden frame drops from 50 FPS to 9-11 FPS and its happening with every game. I just don't understand what exactly is happening since there's no lag while playing HD content. It only happens when i try playing some games on it.



So far i have tried reinstalling video driver several times and it doesn't seems to be working



any help would be appreciated
