Default How to choose a graphics card??

How to choose a graphics card??

Does the processor model have any impact with the model of graphics card. Or what are the factors to choose a graphics card?? for above average gaming

If Intel is the processor which graphics is better and whats the case with AMD.

whether nvidia or Ati is good for future use atleast 3 years down the line.

1) Yes processor should perform well. Its performance should be good enough so that it doesn't bottlenecks GPU.
2) Your preferred resolution and rest of the system configuration should be considered. If your rest of system is out dated, getting good video card won't make difference as its performance will be bottlenecked. Also keep in mind you have a decent PSU to fulfill power requirements of the video card and rest of the system.
3) If you want to keep it for next 3 years then get DX 11 card.

Tell budget, rest of the system configuration, preferred resolution to game and the PSU brand and model number so that we can recommend you video card as per your needs and preference.

Following things have impact on Graphics Card -
1)CPU (Problem of bottleneck)
2)Motherboard (Supports which type of PCI-e G.Cards)
3)PSU (can it deliver the power required)

Please use this template while asking for a Computer Setup.Edit this as per your requirements & then post it here so that we can help you out in a better way..
